Supplier Diversity Policy
Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) is an important responsibility in everything we do at AMS Media Group, and it’s wider than our own workplace. Supplier Diversity reinforces our corporate values while visibly demonstrating our support for equal business opportunity.
We view Supplier Diversity as a business advantage and a component of our D&I strategy which recognises the rights of all individuals to equality of opportunity, equality of access, and freedom from discrimination (see our D&I Policy). We consider these to be fundamental rights and firmly believe that we have a duty to lead on and promote these rights among other companies we work with. As such we require that any supplier doing business with AMS Media Group shares this commitment by offering equality of opportunity and operating in a non-discriminatory manner.
Our core function as a Media Planning & Buying Agency necessitates neutrality across the full spectrum of industry suppliers (Media Owners), ensuring that we are open to select the most effective and efficient routes in which to invest our clients’ advertising budgets. Our commitment to Supplier Diversity is therefore designed around Promotion. This strategic approach involves us assessing the D&I credentials of core suppliers, identifying those that have in place values which are reflective of our own, and encouraging the implementation of further policies where we find evidence of shortfall.
By maintaining this strategy, conveying why our suppliers should be fully on board with their own robust D&I policies (including the ethical case and business benefits) we ultimately promote the sharing of responsibility – with the objective of driving adoption throughout our industry – creating an inclusive culture together.
